Intro to Drawing at the McConnell Art Center

Drawing doesn't have to be intimidating. Learn the basics of drawing from observation and try out different drawing materials and techniques. We will practice creating light and shadow effects, experiment with charcoal, and draw accurate proportions.

Experimental Acrylics at the McConnell Art Center

Push the boundaries of acrylic painting! In this class we will experiment with different tools, methods, and materials to create wonderful and weird new art. Projects include painting on unusual surfaces, combining paint and collage, and creating a painting inspired by motion. Most of all, we will focus on self-expression and the process of painting.

Winter Watercolor Postcard at Franklin Park Conservatory

Send your loved ones something beautiful this holiday season. In this one-time workshop, we will practice basic watercolor techniques and use watercolor and drawing materials to create festive postcards. Each participant will take home their own set of hand-made cards with no prior art experience needed. All supplies provided by the instructor.
