Abstract Seascapes at the Boerio Studio

Summer Watercolors at the Boerio Studio

Try out watercolor painting, whether you are familiar with painting or have never touched a brush. In this one-time workshop, we will explore the basics of watercolor painting. Participants will mix color, try out brush techniques, and use wet-into-wet painting to create a summer, landscape painting. All supplies provided and any level of painter welcome!

Animal Painting at Bryn Du Art Center

Create paintings inspired by the animal kingdom. In this four-session class, students will build the skills to paint furry, feathered, or scaly creatures. Students will choose an animal subject and take their painting from the drawing stage to completed painting with help from instructor Michelle Boerio. In each class we’ll practice techniques to mix color, create texture, and add detail to our paintings. Students are welcome to use acrylic or oil paint. Instructor will provide reference images, drawing tools, and back-ups of supplies.
